This can be made directly through the website shop using the secure PayPal shopping cart, so all major debit and credit cards are accepted. I also accept cheques (UK only); please email me if you wish to pay via this method.
Order Processing / Delivery Times
All jewellery and accessories are made by hand in Laura’s workshop, and many pieces are made to order.
‘One of a kind’ designs and fused glass jewellery ordered directly from the website will be dispatched quickly and should arrive with you within 5 working days.
If a piece is being made to order please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. (It is possible to put through a rush order, but please email Laura about this first.)
Bespoke pieces require at least 12 week’s notice and a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance will be due on completion of the piece.
Postage & Packaging
Jewellery orders are all gift boxed in embossed jewellery boxes, which are tied with satin ribbon. Larger items like headpieces and tiaras will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper to protect them whilst inside larger boxes.
Royal Mail Signed and Special Next Day Delivery are used for delivery within the UK. This ranges from £4.50 - £9.00 depending on the size and value of the order. Special Next Day Delivery is fully trackable, insured and is guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the next working day. Both of these delivery options requires a signature.
International Shipping Charges and Timings:
Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed – up to £13.00
Parcels are normally delivered within 3-5 working days to most of Europe, and between 5-7 days to the rest of the world. Delivery is fully trackable, insured and a signature required on delivery. You will be issued with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
Duties and Taxes:
International customers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes that may be incurred through the delivery of the order on reaching the destination country. We have no control over these charges.
Everything made by Laura Pettifar Designs is made with great attention to detail and a lot of love, and we hope that you will be very happy with your purchase. Everything is packaged with great care so it will arrive with you in the perfect condition it left the studio.
However, in the event that this is not the case, or you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days of receiving the item, for a full refund, minus the postage costs. Unfortunately I cannot accept returns on bespoke orders, or earrings for pierced ears.
If you would like a refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org with 48 hours of receiving your order, and send returns to: Laura Pettifar Designs, 31 Bishops Court, Lossiemouth, Moray, IV31 6TL.
Returns must be sent back in an unused, saleable condition, in the packaging they arrived in, with all labels still intact. Refunds will not be given if the item is returned after 7 days.
When returning items, please retain proof of postage, and choose an appropriate postal method which insures the value of the contents. It is recommended that any parcels with contents worth more than £50 are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, as Laura Pettifar Designs cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returned goods that have not been correctly insured.
Your security is of the utmost importance to us, we do not sell, rent or share any of your Personal Information to third parties. All payments are made using the secure PayPal transaction services, so none of your financial details are shared with Laura Pettifar Designs, at any time.
